This Privacy Policy explains how Anilabz, doing business as Anipaw ("Anipaw," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, stores, shares, protects, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the Anipaw mobile application, website, marketplace features, communications, AI features, and related services (collectively, the "Service" or "App").

This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement.

2. Age Restrictions and Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for users who are 16 years old or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that a person under 16 has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete the information and terminate the account, unless retention is required for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or another lawful purpose.

Users aged 16 or 17 may use the Service only with parent or legal guardian permission. Marketplace purchases, selling, paid subscriptions, and other paid commercial functionality are available only to users who are at least 18.

Parents or guardians who believe a minor has used the Service in violation of this Policy should contact support@anipaw.net.

3. Information We Collect

Authentication credentials are handled by Firebase Authentication or other supported authentication providers. Anipaw does not receive or store your password when authentication is delegated to such providers.

We do not intentionally collect full payment card numbers, bank account credentials, government ID numbers, biometric identifiers, medical records, or highly sensitive personal information unless expressly requested for a specific lawful purpose. You should not submit such information through the Service unless clearly necessary and requested.

4. How We Use Personal Information

We may aggregate or de-identify personal information so it no longer reasonably identifies you and may use such information for analytics, research, product improvement, and business purposes.

The Service may collect and process approximate and precise location data when enabled or otherwise permitted.

Precise device location is collected only with device-level permission or other required consent. You may disable location access through your device settings. Disabling location may limit park discovery, nearby suggestions, alerts, and other location-based functionality.

5.3 Storage

Your most recent location coordinates or derived location may be stored in your account record when location-based features are used. The data may be updated when you actively use location-based features or when the App is permitted to access location for a feature.

5.4 Visibility

Unless specifically displayed in the App, we do not intentionally show your exact real-time coordinates to other users. However, your posts, check-ins, messages, photos, listings, or meetup plans may reveal your location if you choose to share them.

You should exercise caution before sharing your location or posting check-ins, as this information may allow other users to infer your physical whereabouts. Anipaw is not responsible for any harm that results from other users' knowledge of your location or presence at a physical location.

5.5 Deletion

You may request deletion of stored location data by contacting support@anipaw.net, subject to lawful retention needs such as security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal obligations.

6. AI Features

The Service may include AI-assisted features powered by Firebase AI / Gemini or other providers.

6.1 Data Processed

Depending on the feature, AI processing may involve prompts, messages, profile information, dog profile information, posts, images, location-derived context, moderation signals, and other relevant inputs.

6.2 Uses

AI features may be used for chat assistance, suggestions, community features, content recommendations, moderation support, summarization, safety tooling, and product improvement.

6.3 Limitations

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unsafe, or inappropriate. You should not rely on AI outputs as veterinary, medical, legal, financial, emergency, behavioral, or professional advice.

Where available, you may choose not to use AI features or disable optional AI functionality. Some automated processing may still be used for safety, security, fraud prevention, or moderation where permitted by law.

7. How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

Your public profile, dog profiles, public posts, comments, reactions, check-ins, listings, and other public activity may be visible to other users. Messages are shared with intended recipients.

Anipaw is not responsible for how other users receive, record, use, or act upon any information you make publicly available through the Service, including using such information to locate you in person. You are solely responsible for what you choose to make public.

We may share information with providers that help us operate the Service, including:

Service providers may process information in Israel, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions where they or their subprocessors operate.

7.3 Legal and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, legal process, court order, regulatory request, law-enforcement request, tax or accounting obligations, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, animals, or the public.

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

Your personal information may be stored and processed in Israel and in other countries, including the United States and countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your country.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual commitments, vendor due diligence, access controls, and other lawful transfer mechanisms.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

You can update certain profile information directly in the App. You can disable location, camera, photo, microphone, and notification permissions through your device settings. You can request account deletion through the App settings where available or by contacting support@anipaw.net.

We will respond to privacy requests within the timeframe required by applicable law, and in any event aim to respond within 30 days where feasible. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Analytics and Tracking Technologies

Anipaw does not currently serve third-party behavioral advertising and does not intentionally use advertising SDKs for targeted advertising.

13. Push Notifications and Communications

We may send service-related notifications, security alerts, support messages, transactional messages, and policy updates. Where permitted and with any required consent, we may send promotional messages.

You can control push notifications through device settings or in-app settings where available. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the instructions in the message or by contacting support@anipaw.net. We may still send non-promotional service or legal notices.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party services, websites, payment processors, app stores, maps, authentication providers, AI providers, and analytics tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices except where applicable law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App, email, or another reasonable method. The updated Policy will become effective on the date stated in the updated version.

If a change materially affects how we process personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law.
