Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Anilabz, doing business as Anipaw ("Anipaw," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), regarding your access to and use of the Anipaw mobile application, website, services, marketplace features, communications, content, and related functionality (collectively, the "Service" or "App").
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any additional terms that apply to specific features. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Age Requirements
1.1 Minimum Age
The Service is intended only for users who are at least 16 years old. You may not create an account or use the Service if you are under 16.
1.2 Users Aged 16 or 17
If you are 16 or 17 years old, you may use the Service only if your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy on your behalf. By using the Service, you represent that you have such permission.
1.3 Marketplace and Purchases
Marketplace purchasing, selling, paid subscriptions, and any other paid commercial functionality are available only to users who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding transactions.
1.4 Account Verification and Enforcement
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify age, eligibility, identity, location, or compliance with these Terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to violate these requirements.
2. Description of the Service
Anipaw is a social networking and community application for dog owners. The Service may include:
- social feed features for sharing dog-related photos, videos, posts, comments, and updates;
- direct and group messaging;
- dog profiles and owner profiles;
- dog park discovery, location-based community features, and optional alerts;
- AI-assisted chat, discovery, moderation, and community features;
- push notifications and service updates;
- marketplace browsing and purchasing in regions where enabled; and
- premium or paid features where offered.
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, subject to applicable law.
3. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate, current, and complete account information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@anipaw.net if you suspect unauthorized access, account misuse, or a security incident involving your account.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information, violate these Terms, create risk to users or animals, or remain inactive for an extended period.
4. User Content
4.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of photos, videos, text, comments, messages, dog profile information, and other content that you submit, upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Service ("User Content").
4.2 License to Anipaw
By submitting User Content, you grant Anipaw a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, display, perform, transmit, distribute, moderate, and create technical modifications of your User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, improve, and support the Service.
We will not use your User Content in external advertising or marketing materials outside the Service without your separate consent.
4.3 Public Content
Your public profile, dog profiles, public posts, comments, reactions, check-ins, and other public interactions may be visible to other users. You should not post information that you do not want others to see.
4.4 Private Messages
Messages are shared with their intended recipients. We may process messages to provide messaging functionality, safety tools, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and support. Recipients may retain, copy, screenshot, or disclose messages, so you should use caution when sharing sensitive information.
4.5 Content Standards
You must not submit User Content that:
- is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, bullying, hateful, defamatory, deceptive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful;
- exploits, endangers, targets, or solicits minors;
- promotes animal cruelty, neglect, unsafe handling, illegal animal sales, or illegal animal trade;
- contains sexually explicit, violent, graphic, or shock content;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- contains malware, phishing, scams, spam, or deceptive commercial content;
- impersonates another person, business, shelter, rescue, veterinarian, or organization;
- discloses precise private information about another person without permission;
- solicits off-platform payments or transactions in violation of our marketplace rules; or
- otherwise violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.
4.6 Moderation
We may use automated tools, human review, user reports, and third-party services, including Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch, to detect potentially policy-violating content. We may remove, restrict, label, downrank, or refuse to publish content at our discretion and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate our standards.
4.7 Reporting, Blocking, and Appeals
Users may report content, users, messages, listings, or safety concerns through in-app tools where available or by contacting support@anipaw.net. We may provide blocking or muting tools. We may, but are not required to, provide an appeal process for moderation decisions.
4.8 Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact support@anipaw.net with: (a) your contact information; (b) identification of the protected work; (c) identification of the allegedly infringing content; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (e) a statement that the information you provide is accurate.
5. Safety, Dog Interactions, In-Person Meetups, and Assumption of Risk
5.1 Nature of the Service — Platform Only
Anipaw is an online platform. We facilitate connections, discovery, and communication between users online. We do not organize, host, supervise, attend, sponsor, coordinate, or control any in-person meetings, park visits, social gatherings, playdates, community events, or other real-world interactions that users may arrange through or because of the Service ("In-Person Activities"). We have no ability to screen, verify, monitor, or control the conduct of users, their dogs, third parties, or conditions at any physical location.
5.2 Voluntary Assumption of Risk
YOU VOLUNTARILY AND EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL RISKS associated with any In-Person Activity, including but not limited to:
- dog bites, dog attacks, scratches, jumping injuries, and physical harm caused by any dog;
- personal injury, bodily injury, illness, psychological harm, or death;
- property damage;
- allergic reactions, disease transmission, parasites, or communicable illness transmitted by animals or people;
- physical altercations, theft, harassment, assault, or other harmful conduct by other users or third parties;
- unsafe park conditions, traffic, terrain, weather, inadequate facilities, or environmental hazards;
- harm caused by unknown or unvaccinated animals; and
- any other risk inherent in meeting strangers, visiting public spaces, or interacting with dogs.
You acknowledge that dogs are animals with unpredictable behaviors regardless of their history, size, breed, or apparent temperament. You acknowledge that Anipaw has no way to verify the vaccination status, behavioral history, temperament, or any other characteristic of any dog or user.
5.3 Release of Claims
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE ANIPAW AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, CAUSES OF ACTION, DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS, AND EXPENSES OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY IN-PERSON ACTIVITY, INCLUDING HARM CAUSED BY ANOTHER USER, ANOTHER USER'S DOG, OR CONDITIONS AT ANY PHYSICAL LOCATION.
You acknowledge that this release applies even if Anipaw was negligent in providing the Service that led to the In-Person Activity, except where applicable law prohibits the release of claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
5.4 Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- your own safety and the safety of anyone who accompanies you, including children and dependent adults, to any In-Person Activity;
- your dog's behavior, vaccination status, health, temperament, socialization, leash compliance, and supervision at all times;
- complying with all applicable local laws, park rules, leash laws, animal-control regulations, breed-specific restrictions, and public-health requirements;
- independently evaluating whether any user, dog, location, park, event, or interaction is safe before participating;
- obtaining professional veterinary, behavioral, legal, or safety advice when needed; and
- maintaining appropriate insurance, including personal liability insurance and dog owner liability insurance, if available and appropriate in your jurisdiction.
5.5 No Emergency Services
The Service is not a safety or emergency service. Do not rely on the Service or any AI feature for emergency assistance. In any emergency, contact local emergency services, animal control, or qualified professionals immediately.
5.6 Dog Owner Acknowledgment
If you use the Service and your dog is involved in any incident — including a bite, scratch, attack, or property damage — during any In-Person Activity, you are solely responsible for all resulting harm, costs, legal consequences, and liabilities under applicable law. Anipaw has no involvement in or responsibility for such incidents.
6. Location-Based Features
The Service may use approximate or precise location data to provide dog park discovery, nearby community suggestions, alerts, regional feature availability, marketplace availability, fraud prevention, safety features, and personalization.
Location features require device-level permission or other consent where required. You can disable location access through your device settings, though some features may be unavailable or limited.
Unless specifically shown in the App, we do not intentionally display your exact real-time coordinates to other users. You are responsible for content you post that reveals your location, such as check-ins, photos, posts, messages, or meetup plans.
7. Marketplace and Purchases
7.1 Availability
Marketplace browsing and purchasing are available only in regions where Anipaw enables them. Purchasing functionality is currently intended for users located in Israel, unless otherwise stated in the App.
We may determine marketplace availability using account information, registered country, device settings, location signals, payment information, and other fraud-prevention or compliance signals.
7.2 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to buy, sell, list, purchase, subscribe, or otherwise use paid commercial features.
7.3 Role of Anipaw
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Anipaw provides a platform that may facilitate interactions between buyers and third-party sellers. Anipaw is not automatically the seller, manufacturer, distributor, importer, carrier, veterinarian, insurer, or agent for marketplace items listed by third parties.
If Anipaw itself sells an item or acts as merchant of record, the App or transaction flow will identify that role where required.
7.4 Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that listings are accurate, lawful, complete, and not misleading; that products are safe and fit for sale; that required taxes, invoices, warranties, returns, and consumer-law obligations are satisfied; and that no prohibited products are listed.
7.5 Prohibited Marketplace Items
Users may not list or sell illegal products; unsafe animal products; prescription medicines; controlled substances; live animals unless explicitly permitted and legally compliant; recalled products; counterfeit goods; weapons; hazardous materials; stolen goods; or any product that violates applicable law, platform rules, or Anipaw policy.
7.6 Pricing, Taxes, Shipping, Returns, and Refunds
Prices may be displayed in Israeli New Shekels (ILS) or another currency shown at checkout. Taxes, delivery charges, return rights, cancellation rights, warranties, and refunds are governed by the applicable seller policy, checkout terms, payment-provider rules, and mandatory consumer-protection law.
Seller policies may not limit non-waivable statutory consumer rights.
7.7 Payment Processing
Payment processing may be handled by PayPal, an app store, or another third-party payment processor, depending on the product, platform, region, and transaction type.
Digital goods, premium app features, and subscriptions offered within mobile apps may be processed through Apple, Google, or another payment method only where permitted by applicable app-store rules. Marketplace purchases of physical goods may be processed through PayPal or other supported processors where available.
Anipaw does not directly collect or store full payment card numbers or bank account credentials.
7.8 Transaction Disputes
Users should first attempt to resolve marketplace issues with the seller or payment provider. We may assist, restrict accounts, remove listings, or take other action, but we do not guarantee recovery, refund, replacement, delivery, or dispute resolution unless required by law or expressly stated.
8. Freemium Features, Premium Features, and Subscriptions
The Service may offer free features, paid subscriptions, one-time purchases, trials, premium tools, or other paid features.
Before purchase, we will display material subscription terms such as price, billing period, renewal terms, and cancellation method. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal in accordance with the checkout terms and the rules of the applicable payment provider or app store.
Subscription cancellations generally take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. Deleting the App does not necessarily cancel a subscription. Refunds are governed by applicable law, app-store rules, payment-provider rules, and any checkout terms presented at purchase.
We may change pricing or features, but material price changes will apply only after required notice or consent where applicable.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with or may rely on third-party services, including:
- Firebase Authentication;
- Firebase Cloud Messaging;
- Firebase AI / Gemini;
- Google Cloud Vision API;
- Google Maps;
- Google Sign-In;
- Mixpanel;
- PayPal; and
- Apple, Google, or other app-store and payment services where applicable.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
10. AI Features
The Service may include AI-assisted features, such as chat assistance, community recommendations, moderation support, park discovery support, and content suggestions.
AI features may generate inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unexpected outputs. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them. AI outputs are not professional veterinary, legal, medical, financial, emergency, or safety advice.
By using AI features, you understand that relevant inputs, prompts, messages, profile context, content, metadata, and other feature-related information may be processed by Anipaw and by AI service providers to provide, secure, monitor, and improve the feature, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, emergency, or third-party personal information into AI features unless you have the right to do so and understand the risks.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
Key data practices include processing account information, dog profile data, public content, messages, location data, device information, analytics data, notification tokens, payment confirmation data, AI-feature inputs, and moderation data.
12. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purpose;
- harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, exploit, or threaten any person;
- endanger minors, animals, or vulnerable persons;
- use the Service to arrange unsafe, illegal, or abusive animal interactions;
- scrape, crawl, index, harvest, or collect data from the Service using automated tools;
- reverse engineer, decompile, bypass, disable, or interfere with the Service or its security measures;
- upload malware, phishing content, spam, scams, or deceptive content;
- impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
- circumvent regional, age, payment, subscription, or marketplace restrictions;
- sell, rent, transfer, or share your account;
- use the Service for unauthorized commercial solicitation;
- violate third-party rights or applicable law; or
- attempt to do any of the above.
13. Intellectual Property
Anipaw and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, interfaces, graphics, logos, trademarks, trade names, content, algorithms, databases, and documentation, except for User Content and third-party materials.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated. You may not use Anipaw's name, logo, trademarks, or branding without prior written permission.
14. Termination and Account Deletion
You may delete your account through the App settings where available or by contacting support@anipaw.net.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or liability, abused users or animals, infringed rights, misused the Service, or violated applicable law. We may also terminate or discontinue accounts or features for operational reasons where permitted by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain information as described in the Privacy Policy, including for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, accounting, and legitimate business purposes.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, User Content licenses, marketplace obligations, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and general provisions.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANIPAW DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
ANIPAW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT CONTENT, AI OUTPUTS, USER INFORMATION, PARK INFORMATION, MARKETPLACE LISTINGS, OR LOCATION-BASED FEATURES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR SAFE.
ANIPAW IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR OFFLINE INTERACTIONS, DOG BEHAVIOR, PARK CONDITIONS, USER CONDUCT, THIRD-PARTY SELLERS, THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS, OR EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED BY LAW.
ANIPAW MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE REGARDING THE IDENTITY, BACKGROUND, VACCINATION STATUS, HEALTH, TEMPERAMENT, SUITABILITY, SAFETY, OR CONDUCT OF ANY USER, DOG, SELLER, BUYER, SERVICE PROVIDER, OR THIRD PARTY ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE SERVICE. USERS ARE STRANGERS, AND ANIPAW HAS NO OBLIGATION TO SCREEN OR VERIFY THEIR BACKGROUNDS, INTENTIONS, OR THE BEHAVIORAL HISTORY OF THEIR ANIMALS.
ANIPAW IS AN ONLINE PLATFORM ONLY. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES, MEETUPS, PARK VISITS, EVENTS, OR OTHER REAL-WORLD INTERACTIONS. ANY DECISION TO MEET ANOTHER USER, VISIT A LOCATION, OR ALLOW DOGS TO INTERACT IS YOUR SOLE DECISION AND MADE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION, USER PROFILE, DOG PROFILE, CHECK-IN, MESSAGE, AI OUTPUT, OR OTHER CONTENT ON THE SERVICE AS A BASIS FOR IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANIPAW, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, USE, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANIPAW'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ANIPAW FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) ₪100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ANIPAW HAS OFFERED THE SERVICE AT ZERO OR LOW COST IN RELIANCE ON THE LIABILITY LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION AND THE ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, AND INDEMNIFICATION PROVISIONS IN THESE TERMS. YOU AGREE THAT THE LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY REFLECT A REASONABLE AND FAIR ALLOCATION OF RISK BETWEEN YOU AND ANIPAW AND ARE AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN BETWEEN THE PARTIES. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF ANIPAW HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSSES AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.
FOR CLARITY, ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES, DOG INTERACTIONS, OR OFFLINE CONDUCT BY ANY USER ARE SUBJECT TO THE RELEASE IN SECTION 5.3 AND, TO THE EXTENT ANY CLAIM SURVIVES THAT RELEASE, THE LIABILITY CAP IN THIS SECTION APPLIES.
17. Indemnification
17.1 Your Indemnification Obligation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend (with counsel acceptable to Anipaw), and hold harmless Anipaw and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers ("Anipaw Parties") from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, investigations, regulatory proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements ("Claims"), brought by any party, including other users, third parties, or authorities, arising out of or related to:
- your use or misuse of the Service, App, or any feature;
- your User Content, including any representation, inaccuracy, or omission in any profile, dog profile, or listing;
- your marketplace listings, purchases, sales, communications, or disputes;
- your dog's behavior, temperament, health, vaccination status, or interactions with any person, animal, or property, including any claim arising from a dog bite, attack, injury, or property damage;
- any In-Person Activity that you participate in, organize, attend, or enable through the Service, including any claim brought by another user or third party who was harmed at such an activity;
- any representation you made — explicitly or implicitly through your profile or conduct — about yourself, your dog, or your intentions, that another user relied upon to their detriment;
- your violation of these Terms, this EULA, or applicable law;
- your violation of another person's rights, including privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or personal safety rights; or
- any claim that, if proven, would fall within the scope of the release in Section 5.3.
17.2 Anipaw's Right to Control Defense
Anipaw reserves the right to assume exclusive control of the defense and settlement of any Claim subject to indemnification under Section 17.1, at your expense. You will cooperate fully with Anipaw and its counsel in the defense of any such Claim. You may not settle any Claim that imposes obligations on, restricts, or adversely affects Anipaw without Anipaw's prior written consent.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
18.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would cause the laws of another jurisdiction to apply.
18.2 Informal Resolution
Before filing any legal action, each party agrees to attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") through good-faith negotiation. The party asserting the Dispute must send written notice identifying the nature of the Dispute and the relief sought to support@anipaw.net. The parties will negotiate for at least 30 days from receipt of such notice before initiating formal proceedings, unless the Dispute involves imminent harm, animal welfare, or requires emergency or injunctive relief.
18.3 Jurisdiction and Venue
Subject to applicable law, any Dispute that is not resolved through negotiation will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel. You irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue.
18.4 Individual Claims Only — No Class Actions
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO BRING OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION OR PROCEEDING AGAINST ANIPAW. If this waiver is found unenforceable, the entirety of Section 18 shall be null and void.
18.5 Anipaw's Right to Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms, Anipaw may seek emergency, interim, or injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property, confidential information, data, or to prevent irreparable harm, without first complying with the informal resolution requirement.
18.6 Limitation on Time to File Claims
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE. CLAIMS NOT FILED WITHIN THIS PERIOD ARE PERMANENTLY BARRED.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App, email, or another reasonable method. The updated Terms will become effective on the date stated in the updated version.

These Terms are drafted in English. If translated, the English version controls unless applicable law requires otherwise.
