Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your AniPaw account and personal data at any time, directly from the app. Follow the steps below.

How to delete your account from the app

1. Open the AniPaw app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Account (“Download your data and view requests”).
4. Scroll down to the Danger Zone and tap Delete My Account.
5. Read the confirmation message and tap Delete My Account again to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately once you confirm. This action cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and all of your personal data, including your profile information, your dog profiles, and your account settings.

What is retained

Posts and messages you created will remain in the app, but they will no longer be linked to you — they will be attributed to “Deleted User”. Certain information may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, tax, or other legal obligations, and may persist in backups for a limited time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
